David Cameron launched a searing attack on Gordon Brown for wrecking the economy with his "boom and bust" policies. "David Cameron is a novice without a plan and his cronies caused the credit crunch. And lo, David Cameron went down into the City, and he taught the bankers in this wise. If David Cameron was to replace Osborne with Ken Clarke, as he should, the Tories would be an even more powerful force.
